Volunteering 2017 - Gomde Lindholme Hall - The centre for Tibetan Buddhism in the UK

Volunteering 2017

Gomde Lindholme Hall is wholly reliant on volunteers. Through volunteer efforts Gomde is able to be a year round centre, run seminars, host retreats and teachings, host our resident Lama Oser and take care of the estate. An amazing feat!

If you have time, enthusiasm and are willing to help we would love to hear from you. Everyone is welcome!  Specific opportunities are detailed below, but if you are keen to volunteer in any capacity and have questions about this, we´d love to hear from you. Please contact Paulette at: national@gomde.org.uk

Wonderful Volunteering Opportunities 2017

2017 is set to be an exciting year with major changes to our facilities and development of our retreats, seminars and teachings. We currently have a wonderful residential community group little working miracles.
We are looking for a COOK to keep everyone fed.

Resident Community Volunteers

We currently have five people in the resident community. With the help of our strong local volunteer group, the resident team  keep the centre running and offer a place of refuge where authentic Dharma is available and supported.

The resident community is central to the creation of the special welcoming atmosphere at Gomde, Lindholme Hall. We try and build-in kindness, respect and appreciation into all we do; we have found that a little patience and a good sense of humour also helps!
