Beginner Introductory Courses

 Introductory Courses

Many people have a curiosity about Buddhism but just attending a regular study group can be a little daunting. The language and ideas may seem very different from what we are used to!

To help people gain some familiarity of ideas, concepts, meditation and practice we have Introductiory Courses facilitated by Ani Laura. Next course How to Practice

We will discuss some basic points of practice based on The Treasury of Blessings, a very precious liturgy for the practice of Buddha Shakyamuni. In connection with this we will talk about the seven branches, and practical things such as how to set up offerings on the shrine, how to make prostrations, how to structure a practice session and so on. We will also do some practice together.
