When in residence, at his monastery in Boudanath Nepal, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche gives Saturday teachings, he has offered such teachings for every Saturday for over 30 years. Many of these teachings are now available to listen to online at www.dharmasun.org
Although many online teachings are easily available, it is sometimes difficult to make the time in our busy lives to listen or reflect. So following Rinpoches tradition we now offer monthly Saturday talks here at Gomde. The Saturday talks will include teachings from a variety of teachers.
We serve a vegetarian lunch, listen to online teachings, have a discussion and conclude with a formal meditation session.
Please call or email to book a place. Arrive at 12 noon for vegetarian lunch at 12.30pm. Afternoon concludes approximately at 5pm.
£7.50 for the afternoon including lunch. Concessions apply, please ask for details.

Following the visit by Lama Oser to Gomde, Lindholme Hall and his excellent teachings and guidance we decided to mark certian special practice days here at Gomde.
These days include, Dakini Day when we will complete the Tara practice, Guru Rinpoche day, Buddha Shkayamuni and full moon days.
Tara Practice will take place at 10am on the following Dakini days;
22nd October, 20th November, 20th December, 18th January 2012 and 17th February
Guru Rinpoche Practice will take place at 10 am on the following days;
6th October, 5th November, 4th December, 3rd January 2012 and 2nd February
Buddha Shakyamuni Practice and Smoke Offering (Sangcho) will take place at 7 am on the following days:
30th October, 30th November, 23 December, 23rd January 2012 and 21st February
LOSAR 2012
In 2012 Tibetan New Year falls on 21st February. We will have a a Tsok feast and traditional celebration. Details to be announced.
In Tibetan culture, the day before the New Year is traditionally ´House Cleaning Day´ - all are welcome who would like to make Gomde shine on 21st February, for the beginning of the year of the Water Dragon 2139.
