Travel Tips:

To get the cheapest train fares it is necessary to book tickets 2-3 weeks in advance.

If you plan to come by train from Stansted Airport you will have to change trains at Peterborough - it is sometimes cheaper to book 2 separate tickets Stansted to Peterborough and then Peterborough to Doncaster rather than one ticket from Stansted to Doncaster.
Sounds odd, but the UK train system is not always logical!

Nearest village is Hatfield Woodhouse which is on A614.

Directions from Hatfield Woodhouse:
Leave the A614 in Hatfield Woodhouse opposite the primary school, turning left into Remple Lane and then shortly bearing left into Hollingbridge Road. After 500 metres the paved road takes a 90 degree right hand bend. After another 200 metres the road takes a 90 degree left bend before almost immediately turning 90 degrees to the right, crossing the West Moor Drain bridge and becoming Turf Moor Road. Follow the road until eventually, after about 1.6 kilometres, make a 90 degree left hand turn into Lindholme Bank Road (you will see Nature England car park and picnic spots here). Follow this road for about 800 metres and you will reach two semi-detached cottages on your left. (Satnav systems may think you have arrived by now!) Pass the cottages and continue down the road for about 400 metres until you come to Lindholme Hall.
