Join us for a study of Dza Patrul’s Brightly Shining Sun, a step-by-step guide for meditating on the Way of the Bodhisattva.
Khenpo Tokpa Tulku, a brilliant young Khenpo from Ka Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery, will guide us through Patrul Rinpoche´s instruction manual: how to study, reflect and meditate on one of the most significant texts on Bodhichitta. These instructions will provide a practical application of the teachings to tame and train our mind and thereby allow the teachings to saturate our everyday minds and activities.
Come for an introductory weekend and/or a more intensive week long seminar. These teachings provide a cornerstone forthose who wish to develop authentic understanding and practice.

"Transforiming the mind and cultivating a positive, altruistic and responsible attitude are beneficial right now.
If we sincerely put the gist of these teachings into practice , we need have no hesitation on their effectiveness." The Dalai Lama

Dza Patrul Rinpoche, the so-called “enlightened vagabond” of Tibet, was one of the most illustrious spiritual teachers of the 19th century. His life’s practice was to wander and teach the Way of the Bodhisattva, a timeless Buddhist classic, everywhere he went.

In Mahayana and Vajrayana ‘bodhisattva’ refers to anyone who has generated bodhicitta, a spontaneous wish and compassionate mind to attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings.
