Sunday 19th September:

Ngak-so Puja

This is a day long Vajrayana Tantric practice for mending and purification. The practice, also known as the “Ocean of Amrita”, includes visualisation, a profound confessional and a feast offering. Through the practice each participant acknowledges their own perfect inner nature. This is a central practice of the Chokling Tersar lineage and is celebrated in an elaborate way over nine days at both Ka-Nying Shedrup Ling monastery and the Nagi Gompa nunnery in Nepal. Rinpoche particularly requested that the Ngak-so puja be celebrated on the Sunday of his visit to Gomde, Lindholme Hall, so as many people can attend as possible. Texts will be available and those wishing to simply observe the practice are welcome.

The charges for the event are as follows:

The Ngak-so Puja is free to anyone who would like to attend.

Those staying at Gomde will be charged £40 for room and meals.

To enable us to perform the Ngak-so Puja Rinpoche will bring 3 experienced senior monks from Nepal to Gomde Lindholme Hall. The monks will make all the elaborate preparations and help lead the puja.

If you would like to make a separate donation to cover the costs of the Lamas/ monks travel to and stay here at Gomde this would be enormously helpful and ensures the puja is freely available to all who would like to attend and receive the blesings.

Lama Tenzin Visits

Lama Tenzin (the current resident teacher at Gomde Germany/Austria and Umze- chant master- at Ka Nying Shedrup Ling monastery) will visit Gomde, Lindholme Hall to give week end teachings on 25 and 26th September. We hope this will help consolidate the teachings given earlier in the month by Chökyi Nyima.

Lama Tenzin will also come for the week commencing 23rd October. We anticipate he will give meditation and practice instruction as well as lessons in playing traditional instruments - we have a drum, two conch shells and two sets of cymbals.

More details to follow.
